Delete your vetty.me account

If you can sign in

Fastest path — deletion is immediate. Inside the app:

  1. 1Sign in at vetty.me (or open the app).
  2. 2Go to Settings → Danger zone.
  3. 3Tap Delete forever.
  4. 4Type your email to confirm. Done — it's gone.

If you've lost access

Can't sign in (lost your Google / Microsoft login, changed email)? Request deletion by email instead.

  1. 1Email privacy@vetty.me from the email address on your account.
  2. 2Use the subject line Account deletion request.
  3. 3We verify it's you, then delete within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your account — name, email, profile photo, and every signed-in session.
  • Sign-in links — your Google, Microsoft, and Apple connections to vetty.me.
  • Resumes — every verified resume, all edits, and the full version history.
  • Uploads — original files you uploaded (PDF, DOCX, images, LinkedIn export ZIPs).
  • Renders — every generated PNG, PDF, and DOCX export.
  • Photos — uploaded portraits and any generated headshot variants.
  • Public profile — your vetty.me/{slug} page goes offline immediately.

What we keep (and why)

  • Anonymized audit logs — security and abuse-prevention records with your name and email stripped out. They can no longer identify you.
  • Aggregated analytics — counts and totals that never contained personal data.
  • Legally-required records— anything we're obligated to retain (e.g. for tax or fraud), kept no longer than required and never used for any other purpose.

How long it takes

  • In the app — immediate. The moment you confirm, your data is deleted and you're signed out.
  • By email — within 30 days of us verifying your identity.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your data first, sign in and use Settings → Export my data before you delete. See our Privacy Policy and Terms for more.
